Welcome

Alison Bartley, LCSW
Hi! I'm Alison.

I enjoy helping clients strengthen skills to address trauma, manage stressors, and restore a sense of well-being to their lives.
My practice approach is trauma-informed and person-centered.
I have had the pleasure of working with youth and young adults for over a decade and have also spent time in the research field, examining the effects of risk and protective factors on youth. Helping clients reconnect with themselves and bolster skills they can use outside of the therapy session is an important part of my work.

I am a licensed clinical social worker and received my Master’s in Social Work at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia.
I received my certificate in Expressive Arts Therapy from the Northwest Creative and Expressive Arts Institute in Seattle, Washington. Through NWCEAI I also received my certificate in Dreamwork and Dream-Arts.
Note: In my practice I adhere to the principals listed in the Codes of Ethics from the National Association of Social Workers, the International Expressive Arts Therapy Association, and the International Association for the Study of Dreams.
